The Fun Theory

I found this video from youtube.
This is called the fun theory.
They change the people's behaviour for the better by making it fun to do.
Kalau la 'piano stairs' ni ada dekat stesen masjid jamek..Bole kurus semua pengguna LRT..
Memang kreatif la idea mat saleh ni..Malaysia bila lagi nk buat?..

Baru2 ni ada belajar mengenai 'comformity'. This is part of 'the group property 2:norms' theory.
"Conformity is the adjustment of one's behaviour to align with the norms of the group"(copy from the textbook :p )
tujuan utama share teori ni sbb nk kongsi ttg sikap mat saleh kat sni yang sbnrnye sgt2 berbeza dgn org malaysia..
Ingat lagi, dulu 'readers digest' pernah keluarkan result survey kononnya malaysia sgt 'kurang' berbudi bahasa. Melenting orang Malaysia. Termasuk la ahli politik,semua kata kononnya Malaysia adalah negara yang sangat berbudi bahasa di dunia..
Di uk, mereka sgt friendly. Mane2 pun kedai korg pergi. Sekurang-kurangnya, cashier mesti kate 'hi,how are u today?' dan kadang berborak2 dulu..
Aku rase la, ni dialog ak wajib hafal bila pergi kedai..

Cashier: Hi, how are u today?
Me: Fine, thank you..Can i have plastic bag please (sbb sni kene mintak beg plastik)
Cashier: Sure. You look happy today. Are you a student here?..
Me : yea, i study at the university of hull. And I am first year student here.
Cashier : Cool, what course you do here?..
Me : I am doing accounting and business economics.
Cashier : So,total is 15pound (contoh)
Me : Here the money.
cashier: Thank you.
Me : Thx..Have a nice day.
Cashier: Cheers..

Kalau cashier tu perempuan tua, lagi pnjg dialog.kdg2 kalau xfhm,buat2 je gelak..
Pernah tak kat malaysia kita ckp hi/salam dgn cashier..mesti rasa weird kan..
lagi2 kalau kite lelaki dan cashier tu perempuan muda. Mest dia ingatkan kita nak ngorat dia kan..

Kat uk juga, diorg ada satu budaya lagi iaitu kalau kita buka pintu untuk masuk bilik dan
ada seorang lagi rakan kita dkat belakang, kita mesti tlg pggkan pintu smpai la kwn kita dekat belakang pgg pintu tu. Dan kalau kite tolong, diorang akan balas "cheers mate"..

Sini mmg jarang ada istilah 'racist'. Walaupun kita berkulit coklat, tp diorg tersangat la mesra.
Masa group work, kita tak terasa lgsung yang kita sbnrnya foreigner.

kesimpulannya : Malaysia masih lagi negara dunia ke-3. Dan masih banyak lagi kita perlu belajar..
