'Penghargaan' Yahudi untuk Che Det

Tahniah Che Det, atau nama sebenar Tun Dr Mahathir Muhammad..

Baru2 ini ada sebuah NGO yahudi dikenali sebagai The Simon Weisenthal Centre, telah meletakkan nama Che Det dlm 2010 Top 10 Anti Semitic Slur..

Simon Weisenthal Centre adalah NGO yang memperjuangkan yahudi di peringkat antarabangsa.

Che Det mmg terkenal di peringkat global sebagai antara orang Islam yang bersungguh2 mengutuk kekejaman Israel di Palestin.

Antara komen Che Det apabila menerima 'penghargaan' daripada Simon Wiesenthal Centre ialah :

"17. I am simply against injustice, against oppression and unmitigated and illegal violence.

18. If that makes me anti-Semitic then I am proud to be anti-Semitic, even though the term anti-Semitic is wrong. "

Pernah menjadi Presiden OIC, Che Det menggunakan platform OIC untuk mengutuk Israel.Semasa krisis mata wang Asia 1997-98, Che Det secara terang-terangan meyalahkan Yahudi sebagai punca krisis kerana memanipulasi nilai mata wang.. Ucapan terakhir Che Det di pentas OIC sebelum bersara mendapat kritikan daripada wakil EU dan seluruh negara Barat.

Che Det juga merupakan pelopor kepada "Persidangan Agung untuk Pembelaan Baitulmaqdis" yang berlangsung di KL Januari 2010..

Saya kagum dgn Che Det, walaupun sudah berumur 85 tahun tp masih xberhenti untuk bekerja.. Bukan penghargaan di dunia yang diharapkan tapi soalan di akhirat kelak yang perlu dijawab: Adakah umur yang kita ada betul2 digunakan untuk Islam?..fikir2 kan lah..
